A little passion of mine (some call it OCD)
If you know me, you know I love to label EVERYTHING! Yes, it's kind of an addiction of mine I guess. I just figure it's so much easier to keep things in order than not. Some of the things I label are as simple as the file cabinets and drawers at work to the little guest baskets I keep in the bathroom. I've labeled almost everything in the kitchen, in the game closet, in my closet, in the bathrooms, in the laundry room, scrapbooking and craft storage and now......all backpacks, sports bags, dance bags, diaper bags, the bags I carry my things around in at work, and even my clipboard. To get to the point...I am now selling these luggage type bags so that YOU can be all organized as well. I will post pictures of some samples here. Some from orders I've already made, made for myself, or some that I would like to make in the future. I can do pretty much any color and have a lot of different characters. i buy my clipart on etsy so I am able to do this. Most tags are made with just a first name and initial, but I can also write emergency contact on the back for the little ones. Or you can request classroom number or teacher's name on the back so they don't get lost at school. I've had a lot of orders so far and I love fulfilling those requests! So keep me busy, order something, tell your friends, etc. More pictures on facebook as well.

Been a little busy..
Wow! What a busy week it's been! Summer is almost over (gasp!) and so we FINALLY went on our summer "vacation". We ALL had such a great time in Santa Barbara. Still working on a few scrapbook pages, so pictures and blogging on that trip will be up at a later date.
Today we had some friends over for swimming! Yes, we love to be in the pool around here and it ended up as a pool partay. I wanted to do something a little bit different and because of my new found love to Pinterest, I tried taking pictures of the kids with a fun colorful background and some props i found around the house. Let me know what you think!
I think the props are so much fun and I love that the kids weren't directly looking at the camera saying, "cheese". I hope they liked it and had fun because I'm going to do it again next week at our End of the Summer Par-tay, Take 2.
Bailey also had a little surprise for us as well. She did NOT want to wear her floaties today! She said she didn't need them and that they were uncomfortable. Next thing we knew she was over at the deep end telling me to watch her because she was going to swim across on her own without floaties. I had my camera and heart in hand. OMG! I was scared that she would get tired mid-way and that I'd have to go in to save her, but no, she went across the deep end and then back again! Wow! Then she wanted to do it again but made sure I was going to get it on video. Love my girl so much! So proud of her!

Swimming with our friends!
Bailey and Caiden love to be in the water! Isn't that what summer is all about anyways? They wake up and first thing they ask is, "Can we go swimming today?" So far they have been swimming everyday this week and they stay in the pool until right before it starts to get dark~ it doesn't even get dark until after 8PM.
Samantha and Stella came over and the girls had a blast! They are all still learning to swim so when they start running around and jumping and going on the slide we make sure they wear their floaties. When they are ready to practice swimming, they go over to the shallow end and take the floaties off. Hopefully they'll be over again soon. Fun times!
Bailey also has a friend who lives across the street named Jadyen. Funny thing about Jayden is that she's the daughter of a friend named Alina, that I went to elementary school with. Small world, it really is. She moved right across the street from me and we have daughters who are just 1/2 a year apart~ go figure! The girls love that they have a playmate so close. All they have to do is have someone watch them cross the street and 'PRESTO! Let's play!

Huntington Beach~
We had an awesome time at the beach yesterday! We got there at around 12:30 stayed until 5ish. The kids of course did not want to leave. We weren't the only ones with the beach idea~ Huntington Beach was pretty packed. After we slathered the kids with sunblock they ran into the water and were back and forth the entire time. Albert taught Bailey to capture sand crabs. She caught on to the "quick digging" method and in no time was catching sand crabs for all the friends they made at the beach. They also made us promise that we would go back really soon. I for one could do without all that sand, but watching them having so much fun was totally worth it. We got home and I had them jump straight into the pool so they wouldn't get sand all over the house, LOL.

A day at Soak City, Buena Park
The kids and hubby have been sound asleep for a while, the water tired them out. I was able to get caught up on Teen Mom, LOL. We had a fun, fun, fun, day at Soak City! We got passes this year for Knott's and Soak City so we figured it was time to go. Spent most of the day at Gremmie Lagoon, which is the smaller kids' play area. Bailey and Caiden had a great time running and chasing eachother and playing in the water. We didn't leave until closing time and even then the kids were upset that we had to leave. And yes, Bailey always wears bows, even when she's swimming :)
I have to mention that I bought Bailey's bathing suit from Land's End and I totally love it! It fits her well and the color is really vibrant. The straps never came down and the bottom ruffle part kept her "bottom" well covered-up which is a plus+ in my book. Of course Caiden is sporting Gymboree's board shorts and rash guard, he loves anything with pirate skulls and so does his mommy.

Day one of my blog
So it's the first time I'm actually posting something on my blog. It took me a few days because if you know me at all, you know that I had to make it look "pretty" before I let anyone else see it. I used photoshop to make the frame/title thing up at the top using pictures from a photo shoot my very talented friend, Nekane, did for us a few months back. I am now trying to link her website here http://throughgrinsandgiggles.com
It's past midnight, this is usual for me. I work best when my husband and kids are asleep because otherwise I'd be cleaning up after them and I'd never accomplish all the things I want to do.
So on Tuesday we went to see Captain America. My 3 year old has been waiting and waiting to go see it and so we finally went. It was pretty awesome! I had no idea of this superhero character before other than his name and so it was a learning experience for me as well. I didn't know that the character had anything do with WWII or the military. Being that I have a love for the military since a few family members are active and that my husband is a former Sailor, this makes Captain America my favorite superhero. I also love that it was kind of a love story, (ya, I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff) and it was entertaining for the other 3 Aguilars. It didn't hurt that Captain America was quite good looking after the whole experimental serum thing. I'm not really sure about copyrights and all that so I will post a picture of my son who would like to be Captain America for Halloween this year (and SpiderMan at the same time).

After the movie they fell asleep in the car and woke up as soon as we got to the driveway telling me that they wanted to go swimming in the pool and so they did.
It's off to bed for me, or at least off the computer as I go get things ready for our trip to Soak City in the morning. Have a great Wednesday everyone!
